Sports Therapist/Personal Trainer

Heather Chalmers is the founder of Newburgh Sports Injury Clinic, which opened in September 2020.  She has just completed a Bsc (hons) Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation at Perth College UHI and is also a fully qualified personal trainer with an additional qualifications as a Level 3 Exercise Referral Specialist and a Level 4 Strength & conditioning Coach.

Heather also works regularly with Newburgh Junior Football Team as their Sports Therapist providing pitch side first aid and assessing and treating soft tissue injuries. She also teaches Sports Massage and Gym Instructor Courses for Fitness Training Scotland throughout the year.

In the spare time Heather is a retained firefighter for Newburgh Fire Station and enjoys going to the gym.
